General Liability Insurance

4 out of 10 small businesses are likely to experience a property or general liability claim in the next 10 years.*

General liability insurance is often considered a necessity for any businesses that interact with clients face-to-face, access clients’ equipment, represent clients’ businesses, conduct business-related activities at a third-party location, or are required to have coverage in order to enter into a contract with a client. This coverage protects your business from a bodily injury, property damage, data loss, and personal injury. Depending on your policy, you won’t be personally responsible for medical costs, property damage repair fees, legal defense expenses, and more.

General liability coverage is often included with property insurance in a Business Owner Policy (BOP), but is also available as a standalone policy.
